Initial public release of SEPA Generator Pro. Payment files are processed locally on your computer: they are read, validated and written on your machine, and are never uploaded by SEPA Generator.

Payment file generation

  • Credit transfers from CSV, XLS and XLSX files, in pain.001.001.02 and pain.001.001.09.
  • Generate pain.001.001.03 Credit Transfer files for banks and upload channels that still require the legacy format. pain.001.001.09 remains the modern recommended format.
  • Direct debits in pain.008.001.08, for both the CORE and B2B schemes.
  • Generate pain.008.001.02 Direct Debit files for banks and upload channels that explicitly require the legacy format, for both CORE and B2B. pain.008.001.08 remains the modern recommended format. Successful XSD validation confirms conformity to the official schema, not bank-specific acceptance; B2B participation and mandate registration remain bank-side requirements.
  • Optional structured postal addresses for pain.001.001.09 and pain.001.001.03, helping you prepare for the November 2026 SEPA address requirements.

Validation and reporting

  • Business-readable validation that names the row and the field behind each rejection.
  • Exportable HTML validation reports separating errors, warnings and informational notes.
  • Validate external SEPA XML: check a SEPA file you already have against the bundled XSD schemas, without generating anything.

Migration and readiness tools

  • Migrate SEPA XML to the supported newer schemas, with the result validated before it is written:
    • pain.001.001.02 to pain.001.001.09
    • pain.001.001.03 to pain.001.001.09
    • pain.008.001.02 to pain.008.001.08
  • SEPA 2026 address readiness: classifies your data and produces an HTML report showing what still needs structured address information.

Everyday workflow

  • Payment profiles: keep several debtor and creditor identities and switch between them.
  • Saved import mappings: name and reuse your CSV column mappings.
  • Light and dark themes, and a concise generation summary after each run.

Installation

  • Windows (MSI), macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel (DMG, signed and notarized by Niryosys) and Linux (DEB).
  • Installs alongside SEPA Generator Community without interfering with it.
  • Checks for a newer version once a day and tells you when one is available; it never installs anything by itself.
