Download and install Pro
Get the installer
Pro is a packaged desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Each installer bundles its own Java runtime, so no separate Java installation is required. The Pro download page shows current installer availability for each platform. If your system warns about an installer, make sure it came from that page and compare it with the SHA256SUMS.txt file published there.
Start the 14-day free trial
Open Pro and select “Start 14-day free trial” on the welcome screen. The trial unlocks every Pro feature, needs no credit card, no account, and no email address, and starts only when you click that button. Pricing and what Pro adds over the free Community Edition are explained on the Pro page.
When the trial ends
Nothing is charged or deleted
There is no automatic charge when the trial ends, and ending the trial never deletes, encrypts, or changes your business data. A license is required to continue using Pro after the trial.
Find your local data
After the trial, Pro opens a license screen with Buy Pro, Enter license key, Access my local data…, and Quit. Access my local data… lists the folders that hold your Payments and Collections data, exported XML files, company profiles, and saved mappings, so you can open them from your file manager.
Buy Pro after the trial
Choose Buy Pro in the application or on the Pro pricing section, then enter the license key you receive by email with Enter license key. Pro unlocks without a restart, with your existing data in place.
Already a Pro 1.0 customer?
Valid Pro 1.0 license keys continue to work with Pro 2.0.1. When a new version is available, the update check in Pro tells you and opens the Pro download page; it never installs anything silently. Install the new version yourself; your existing activation and subscription stay the same.
Licensing and activation
Activate Pro
Activation follows four steps:
- Purchase a Pro subscription.
- Receive your license key by email from Lemon Squeezy when the purchase completes.
- Install and open SEPA Generator Pro.
- Enter the license key in the application's activation screen.
The activation is stored locally on that computer in encrypted form. Activating and validating a license uses the internet, but that is separate from payment-file processing — your SEPA files are never uploaded for licensing.
3 activations
One annual licence may be activated on up to 3 devices used internally by the purchasing individual or organisation. It may not be shared outside that organisation or resold. See terms, licensing & refunds for the licensing conditions that apply.
Deactivate or replace a device
Before you replace, reinstall, or decommission a computer, deactivate the license on that device so the activation is released for another machine. If the device is no longer available, or an activation cannot be released, email [email protected] and we will help. Activations are managed in the application and by support — there is no browser-based activation manager.
Recover a license key
Search the mailbox you used at checkout for the Lemon Squeezy purchase or license email. The Lemon Squeezy billing portal also shows your order where applicable. If you still cannot find the key, email [email protected] with the purchase email address. We will never ask you for payment-card details or passwords.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Manage billing and invoices
Lemon Squeezy handles billing, receipts and invoices, payment-method updates, and subscription management. Open the portal to download an invoice or change your payment details.
Cancel renewal
Cancel your subscription in the Lemon Squeezy billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not normally end the period you have already paid for, so Pro access usually continues until that period ends, subject to the license terms. Cancelling is not the same as a refund, and deleting or uninstalling the application does not cancel the subscription.
Request a refund
Every Pro charge — the initial purchase and each annual renewal — comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Send refund requests to [email protected] from the purchase email address within 14 calendar days of the charge; no reason is required. Include the Lemon Squeezy order or invoice number when you have it — never send full card details. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method and can take several business days to appear. Full details are in the terms and refund policy.
Founding price
Pro is €119/year as an annual subscription. Founding subscribers keep that price for as long as the subscription stays continuously active. If a subscription lapses, a later purchase is made at the price current at that time.
Working with Pro
Local data and backups
Payments and Collections data is saved automatically in local folders on your computer; the application does not encrypt these live files. Optional password-encrypted backups, set up with Backup & Restore…, copy that data to a folder you choose and can restore it on the same or a new computer. A restored computer still needs its own license activation.
Payments and Collections
Add or import beneficiaries, customers, and mandates from CSV or Excel, then build or repeat a batch. Imports never silently change a saved IBAN or BIC: changed bank details must be confirmed at review. Errors shown at review block export until they are fixed.
Exporting XML and submitting it to your bank
Pro saves the SEPA XML file on your computer and records it in the export history. Upload that file through your existing online banking or bank channel; Pro does not connect to your bank or execute payments and collections. Acceptance can still depend on your bank, so test your first production file with it.
If your bank rejects a file
Check the file with External Validation in XML Tools, and compare the bank's message with the common SEPA XML rejection errors. If you are still stuck, email [email protected] with the bank's exact message and an anonymised sample.

To get a useful answer quickly, tell us your operating system, the SEPA Generator Pro version, whether the issue concerns Credit Transfer, Direct Debit, validation, migration, installation, or activation, the exact error message, and the steps that produced it.
Please do not email real payment files containing personal or banking information unless we have specifically agreed a secure process with you. A minimal anonymised sample is usually enough to reproduce a problem. See the privacy note.
