SEPA Generator is a desktop application. Files are generated on your machine, and your payment data is not uploaded to Niryosys to create them. The app does not access your bank credentials or send payments. It still uses the internet for tasks like update checks and, in Pro, license activation.

Bank acceptance
Generated files follow the pain.001 and pain.008 SEPA formats. Acceptance may still depend on your bank, upload channel, account configuration, and bank-specific rules, so test your first production file with your banking portal. Read the privacy note.

Yes. The Community Edition is free and open source under the Apache-2.0 license, with unlimited devices and no activation.
Does it upload my payment file?
No. SEPA Generator is a desktop app that runs locally on your computer. Your payment files are not uploaded to any server.
What does Pro add?
Pro includes everything in Community and adds SEPA Direct Debit (pain.008), detailed HTML validation and rejection reports, bundled official XSD validation, external XML validation, message-version migration, Address Readiness, payment profiles, and saved import mappings.
How much does Pro cost?
SEPA Generator Pro is €119/year at the founding price. It is an annual subscription with three device activations. Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.
Will my bank accept the generated file?
SEPA Generator produces standards-based pain.001 SEPA Credit Transfer XML, and pain.008 SEPA Direct Debit XML in Pro. It validates your input data during generation, and Pro also validates the finished file against the official XSD schemas and can validate existing XML from other systems. Bank acceptance is a separate decision that can still depend on your bank, upload channel, account configuration, the required message version, and bank-specific rules, so test your first file with your banking portal before production use.
Which pain.001 versions are supported?
The Community Edition supports pain.001.001.02 and pain.001.001.09 for SEPA credit transfers, including structured postal address support for pain.001.001.09.
Does it support direct debit (pain.008)?
The Community Edition generates SEPA Credit Transfers only. SEPA Generator Pro adds SEPA Direct Debit (pain.008.001.08) with CORE and B2B schemes and FRST, RCUR, OOFF, and FNAL sequence types.
