Terms, licensing & refunds

These terms explain how SEPA Generator is licensed and, for the paid Pro Edition, how subscriptions, activations, and refunds work. SEPA Generator is published by Niryosys. This page is the controlling source for the subscription, licensing, and refund terms described below.

Community Edition

The Community Edition is free and open source under the Apache-2.0 license. It can be installed on an unlimited number of devices and does not require activation. There is no subscription and no charge.

Pro Edition — subscription

SEPA Generator Pro is offered as an annual subscription at a founding price of €119/year. Founding subscribers keep this price for as long as they remain continuously subscribed. The price may rise for new subscribers after the founding period.

A Pro subscription may be activated on up to 3 devices used internally by the purchasing individual or organisation. It may not be shared outside that organisation or resold. There is no free trial. You can deactivate a device to free an activation for use on another device.

Renewal and cancellation

The subscription renews annually until it is cancelled. You can cancel renewal at any time in the Lemon Squeezy billing portal at https://niryosys.lemonsqueezy.com/billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not itself end the subscription period you have already paid for, and it is not a refund. Access normally continues until the end of that paid period. Deleting or uninstalling the application does not cancel the subscription.

Licensing and activation

Pro requires a license for activation. Activating, validating, and deactivating a license involves a connection to the licensing service. This is separate from payment-file processing: your imported data and generated SEPA files are processed locally by the desktop application and are not uploaded for licensing. Payments and Merchant of Record

Checkout, invoicing, and applicable taxes for Pro are handled by Lemon Squeezy acting as the Merchant of Record. When you purchase Pro, your payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy under their terms and privacy policy. Payment-file contents are never sent to Niryosys or Lemon Squeezy. Billing details, invoices, payment methods, and subscription management are available in the Lemon Squeezy billing portal; there is no separate SEPA Generator customer account.

Refunds — 14-day money-back guarantee

SEPA Generator Pro comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. You can request a full refund of any Pro charge — the initial annual purchase or a later annual renewal charge — within 14 calendar days of that charge. The guarantee applies to business and consumer customers alike, and no reason is required.

To request a refund, email [email protected] from the email address used at purchase; requests sent to [email protected] are also accepted and handled identically. We may ask for the Lemon Squeezy order number or invoice reference if it is needed to locate the transaction — please do not send payment-card details. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method and can take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

When a charge is fully refunded, the associated subscription is cancelled so that it does not renew, the refunded Pro entitlement ends, and the license is disabled. The application detects a disabled license at its next periodic online validation, after which Pro can no longer be used normally. You do not need to deactivate devices or prove that you have uninstalled the application before receiving a refund. Cancelling a subscription is not the same as requesting a refund.

This guarantee is a voluntary commercial policy offered by Niryosys; it does not limit or replace statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. For downloadable software supplied immediately, specific digital-content withdrawal rules may apply at checkout under the Lemon Squeezy buyer terms. Outside the guarantee, refunds are provided where required by applicable law; duplicate, incorrect, or failed transactions are handled case by case; and Lemon Squeezy, as Merchant of Record, may handle certain refunds and payment disputes (chargebacks) directly under its own terms.

Bank acceptance disclaimer

SEPA Generator is designed to produce standards-based pain.001 SEPA Credit Transfer and, in Pro, pain.008 SEPA Direct Debit XML. It helps detect common input errors, but it does not guarantee that any file will be accepted. Bank acceptance may depend on your bank, upload channel, account configuration, the required message version, and bank-specific rules, so production files should be tested with your bank.
